Spectrometer penthouse connections
The penthouse connectors include connectors for external
accessories, external detectors, and the data system (via USB). Do
not open the penthouse -- there are no user-serviceable parts inside.
To access the connectors, lift the spectrometer cover.

4 FPA/TRS - Used to connect either

connector to PC 6 Accessory - Used to connect

7 TRIG OUT - Located under the EXT
DET 1 connector, but obscured in
this image. Used to trigger to an
external device 8 USER 1 IN - Used to receive a
signal from an external device 9 SIGNAL OUT - Used to send a
signal to an external device
10 USER 5 IN - Used to receive a
signal from an external device for
