Startup
In Case of Difficulty
If the 35900E Series II does not power up correctly, power off the 35900E
Series II and disconnect all communication and signal cables. With only the
power cable connected, turn the power back on.
•
If the 35900E Series II powered on correctly:
a
Power off the 35900E Series II.
b
Reconnect one communication or signal cable.
c
Power on the 35900E Series II.
If the 35900E Series II powers on correctly, repeat the steps above for each
cable until you find the cable that causes the failure. Replace the cable.
•
If the problem persists after cycling the power, note the LED pattern on the
front panel display. Check
for possible causes for failure. If the
fault condition persists, contact Agilent for service.

but the external computer (DHCP server)
did not provide an IP address. Power
cycle. Check LAN and the DHCP server.
