280-DS Operator’s Manual

Method Editor General Tab

Double-click a method or single-click a method and click

Properties

to open

the Method Editor. The General tab is displayed by default.

Enter any applicable notes associated with the method.

Measurements

When this option is enabled, you will be required to enter a comment when a
value is acquired outside of the parameter specifications.

Update Qualification
Record

When this option is selected, upon successful completion of the method, the
dissolution apparatus qualification date is reset to the current date and you are
prompted to schedule the next due date. An instrument log is maintained for the
dissolution apparatus in the database.

Change Management

Check the

Restrict method editing rights to the method owner

box to protect

the method from outside editing.
