16900A, 16902A, and 16903A Service Guide

Replacing Assemblies

To remove and replace the backlight inverter board

Perform previous procedures:

•

“To prepare the instrument for disassembly"

page 48

•

“To remove and replace the cover"

on page 52

•

“To remove and replace the front panel assembly"

page 64

Place the front panel assembly face down and disconnect
the cables from the inverter board as shown.

Using a Torx T6 screwdriver, remove the 2 screws
securing the board to the front panel board.

Reverse this procedure to install the backlight inverter
board.
