Note:
Take care and test painted areas prior to
using any type of paint remover, rubbing
alcohols or cleaners to remove any pen lines.
NOTE: The following steps are only needed if
a side mounted four stroke engine is
used and it is necessary to cut out a relief
hole for the engine cylinder head and
valve covers.

Tape a strip of template paper to the side of the
fuse and over the engine cylinder head as
shown.

Trace and cut out a relief hole for the engine
cylinder head and valve covers as shown. En-
sure there is adequate clearance all around the
cylinder head.

Install the cowl using all four cowl screws and
trace the cutout opening onto the side of the
cowl as shown. Remove the cowl and use a
rotary cutting tool to cut out the opening as
described in the previous steps.
