Elevator Control Horn Installation
1.
The elevators have been pre-hinged and
glued
to the stabs and are ready for flight. No other
steps are necessary for hinging. Clear cover-
ing has been provided for sealing of the hinge
gaps if desired.
Gather the stab and elevator, control horn, and
four mounting screws.
STAB AND ELEVATOR ASSEMBLY
2. Align the control horn over the factory drilled
holes.
Note:
Ensure arm of control horn faces towards
Tip End of elevator.
(Refer to picture).
3.
Use thick CA on each screw prior to
installing to lock screws in place
Note:
CA glues have a fast drying time.
Remember to work quickly.
4.
Secure control horn using four wood screws as
shown.
