Lift airplane from center handle as shown, plane 
should sit level when lifted. Balance the Extra 300  
without fuel in the tank with the batteries installed 
and 

READY TO FLY

.  Try to balance the model 

by moving the batteries and receiver before adding 
any ballast.

 

IMPORTANT  

 

The CG Buddy 

is not 

adjustable and is set to bal-

ance the airplane at the recommended CG of 

3.25” 

this is just a starting point and the C.G. can be ad-

justed as the pilot becomes familiar with the airplane.
