4. Using Notepad, delete the following line from the [386Enh] section
of the SYSTEM.INI file:
device=monmouse.vxd
5. Delete the directory C:\Elo to remove the touchscreen diagnostic
programs and sample Z-axis and calibration programs.
6. Restart Windows 95.
8.4.3 Touchscreen driver for Windows NT
1. Make sure you have installed the touchscreen hardware in the
PPC-102 (assuming you have purchased the PPC-102 with touch-
screen) and configured the touchscreen to resources (COM port, IRQ,
etc.) that are not already in use by other devices.
2. Start your computer.
3. Insert the "Touchscreen Driver for Windows NT" disk into drive D.
4. Click the Start button, and then click Run.
5. Type “d:\monmouse\winnt” in the space provided and press Enter.
6. Follow the directions on the screen.
7. The Touchscreen Setup Wizard will appear. You do not need to
specify the type of touchscreen controller that you are using or how it
is connected. Do specify the language you want to use in the Touch-
screen Control Panel.
8. Complete the Setup program, and refer to the section "Using the
touchscreen on serial port COM4" on the next page of this manual.
9. Shut down and restart Windows NT.
10. Click the Start button, then click Settings, then click Control Panel.
11. Double-click Elo Touchscreen to run the Touchscreen Control Panel.
12. Click the Calibrate button and touch each of the three targets as they
appear on the screen. Touch Yes when the cursor lines up correctly
with your finger. Touch OK to close the Touchscreen Control Panel.
