I

NTERFACE

 

 

The Discrete Interface is typically used by those who desire to operate the unit remotely using 
switches for command and LEDs for status. Nevertheless it is suited for integration with a 
computer. 
 
The Discrete Interface is located at connector J3 on the connectors plate of the SSPA. J3 is a 26 - 
pin MS3114E16-26P (male) connector with pin assignment shown in 

TABLE 8

 at page 28. 

Status signals are provided from open collector outputs. Control is achieved by ground closure
