Create Traffic Descriptor Screen
The Create Traffic Descriptor Screen (see Figure 33 ) is used to create a traffic descriptor. The
Create Traffic Descriptor Screen is accessed by typing the
C
hot key on the Traffic Descriptor
Screen. A traffic descriptor must be created before a PVC can be provisioned.

The following steps provide the means to create a traffic descriptor:
1. Logon to the Total Access System via the PCU.

to display the Create Traffic Descriptor Screen.
6. Using the options available, name and define a traffic descriptor appropriate for the
application of the circuit. Once defined, select the option corresponding to Create and
press

NTER
.
NOTE
Confirm the creation of the new traffic descriptor before pressing
E
SC
to return to the previous menu.
