Maintaining the Library

Installation and Operation

Step 2 – Remove the tape drive

Using a flat-blade screwdriver, loosen the two captive screws on the
drive carrier faceplate. See

Figure 6-1

Using your finger, pull out the lever on the faceplate.

Pull the tape drive out of the slot.

CAUTION

Do not pull out the lever without first loosening the
screws.
