NOTE:
Arm circumference should be measured with a measuring tape in the
middle of the relaxed upper arm. Do not force cuff connection into the
opening. Make sure the cuff connection is not pushed into the AC adapter
port. If the cuff is too small, call 1-800-232-2670 for further information. You
may prefer to use one of our wrist-type monitors.
NOTE:
If you ever need to buy a replacement cuff, use only ADC
®
brand.
5. SETTING UP YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR
5.1. Inserting the Batteries
After you have unpacked your device,
insert the batteries. The battery
compartment is located on the underside
of the device (see illustration).
Remove cover as illustrated.

Insert the batteries (4 x AA, 1.5V), observing the indicated polarity.

Attention!
If a battery warning appears in the display, the

batteries are almost discharged and must be replaced.
After battery warning appears, the device will not
•
work until batteries have been replaced.
