• Always put the ON/OFF switch (7) into the OFF position when
ADAX SET is brought into an area with signs warning of danger of
interference to electrical devices with batteries and/or wireless trans-
mitter/receiver.
• If ADAX SET is exposed to fire it may cause an explosion.
• If ADAX SET is exposed to faults in the electric supply, it may be
damaged. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer.
• Be aware that this product is not intended for use by persons (includ-
ing children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the product by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the product.
10) Maintenance:
• If ADAX SET is not to be used for a while, it should be disconnected
from the mains supply, and the ON/OFF switch put in the OFF posi-
tion.
• ADAX SET must be stored and used only in areas with a climate that
is within the limits given in this user guide.
• Keep ADAX SET away from areas with typically high humidity, e.g.
bathrooms and terraces. ADAX SET must not be exposed to water or
other fluids as this will cause damage.
• Do not use alcohol or other solvents to clean ADAX SET or the tem-
perature sensor. Use a soft, moist cloth.
• The housing of ADAX SET must never be opened (does not apply to
the SIM cover on the back).
• If ADAX SET is not functioning normally, we recommend first read-
ing our troubleshooting checklist (see page 47).
11) Exception:
• ADAX AS and its partners are continuously working on develop-
ing our products. We reserve the right to make product changes and
upgrades without notice.
