13. PC/104 ISA Bus Expansion

The PC/104 specifies an ISA bus with certain mechanical and electrical features that make
it well suited to embedded applications. It eliminates the need for a backplane, it provides
for compact adapters, and allows for reduced bus signal drive requirements.

13.1

Connector

There are two physical connectors associated with the 16-bit PC/104 expansion supported
by the NPC-486E, J5 and J6.
