The anchorage point must have a break load of at least
15kN. Karabiner, harnesses, slings etc. must be of
approved type and have a CE-marking for personal
protective equipment (PPE).
1) Place the machine on the ground directly under the
rope that will be used for the ascent, open the rope grab
protective cover.
2) Press the rope with your thumb in the ring through the metal
loop that is situated directly above the rope grab.
3) Insert the work rope in the rope grab and close the protective
cover. Insert the rope so that the rope grab pulls the machine
and load upwards. An arrow marks the rope grab’s rotation
direction. If the rope is inserted incorrectly, the rope grab will
feed out the rope without any serious repercussions.
Pull lightly the outgoing tail rope
during the first metres of the take off
(ascending).
Pay attention that the rope
comes out
clearly from the space between the
guide knife and the loop.
After approx. 5 metres
ascending
,
the
weight of the outgoing tail rope will
clear by itself
.
