4. 4 FIRST USE

all the equipment must be given routine
maintenance and/or sterilized according to the
procedures defined in chapter 11.
V - IRRIGATION SOLUTION
The I
MPLANT

is not designed to administer
drugs. It must be used only with bottles or bags
of physiological saline or sterile water with an
individual capacity not exceeding one litre.

SATELEC disposable sterile irrigation lines.

7. 1 STARTUP
By default, the device runs an automatic test
sequence (self-check).
Each time the device is switched on, the screen
displays program 1 of the I-S
URGE
function.
7. 2 SETTINGS
The settings are stored when each program is
configured and are retrieved whenever a program
that selected.
7. 3 IRRIGATION FUNCTION
a) Flush/Prime
The Flush/Prime function is available on the
control keypad and on the footswitch.
Pressing button (Fig. 3-1) or the footswitch
button (depending on the function used) switches
on the Flush/Prime function.
The Flush/Prime function stays on as long as the
button is pressed.
b) Flow rate adjustment
The irrigation flow rate is adjusted using the
and buttons (Fig. 3-2 and 3).
Each time the corresponding buttons are pressed,
the flow rate is adjusted.
The adjusted value is displayed on the LCD screen
(Fig. 4-14); it is stored in the current program by
pressing button .
