In order to get the most out of this function, your radiator has to be
positioned near the aperture without any furniture or other obstruction in between.
4.3 Temperature calibration
Refer to the introduction to this chapter to access the functions menu and how
to browse them.
If, after several days of radiator operation, you notice a
difference between the temperature detected in your room and the
temperature programmed on the appliance, you can calibrate your
radiator by +/- 2°C by observing the procedure below.
1) Access the calibration function which displays the temperature measured
by your appliance.
2) Measure the room temperature near the radiator using a reference
thermometer.
3) If the temperature measured differs from that indicated by your appliance,
press the
-
or
+
keys to make them match.
4) If this difference in temperature is more than 2°C, contact the after-sales
service of your dealer.
4.4 PLC association / disassociation
Refer to the introduction to this chapter to access the functions menu and how
to browse them.
Your appliance can be controlled remotely by a PLC programming base unit
using X2D protocol (not supplied with your appliance). Once associated with it, your
radiator can communicate with this base unit via the electrical network in your home
without the addition of an extra control panel.
If your radiator is associated with a pilot wire or PLC programming base unit,
please see the instructions supplied with the unit for information on operating your
appliance with it.
To associate the base unit with your radiator, first of all activate
the association procedure of your base unit. Then press the
-
or
+
key
on your radiator until the CP + v symbol is displayed.
To disassociate your radiator, press the
-
or
+
key for 30
seconds until the CP + o symbol is displayed.
4 Advanced functions (for advanced
users)
Press and hold the
MODE
key for 5 seconds to access the radiator's advanced
functions as described below. The indicator will blink while you browse these
functions.
Browsing these functions is possible by pressing the
MODE
key repeatedly.
Each time the key is pressed moves you to the next setting and confirms the modifica-
tions made.
You can quit the advanced functions menu at any time by pressing and holding
the
MODE
key for 5 seconds or waiting for one minute without pressing any key.
The indicator will then stop blinking.
4.1 Setting the time
Refer to the introduction to this chapter to access the functions menu and how
to browse them.
The clock indicator is displayed without blinking. Set the hour by pressing
the
-
or
+
key.
Press
MODE
briefly to move on to the minutes setting.
In the same way you set the hour, press the
-
or
+
key to set the minutes.
4.2 “Open window detection” activation / deactivation
Refer to the introduction to this chapter to access the functions menu and how
to browse them.
Your radiator can detect a significant fall in temperature such
as that produced by leaving a window open for a prolonged period in
winter. It automatically adjusts its operation to save energy.
In this case, the "open window detection" indicator light
lights up.
When the temperature in your room stabilises, the radiator resumes normal
operation and the display disappears.
You can activate or deactivate this function by pressing
-
or
+
.
• The icon indicates that the function is active.
• The icon indicates that the function is deactivated. This is the default
setting.
