Architecture and Components

4.5.2

Floor Model

Each floor model contains physical disk drives, including the disk array groups and the
dynamic spare disk drives. Additionally, each floor model has dual power plugs, which should
be attached to two different power sources or power panels.

Floor (RKXS+H1J) Model can be configured with 15 disk drives at a maximum of 5.5 Tbytes
RAID5 (using the 400 Gbyte disk drive).

Floor (RKXS+H2J) Model can be configured with 30 disk drives at a maximum of 11.0
Tbytes RAID5 (using the 400Gbyte disk drive).

When FC interface board is not added, one port configures one Mini-HUB, and extends to two host connectors. When

FC interface board is added, control unit implements two ports and two host connectors. One port configures FC interface

independent of another port, and implements one host connector.
