Chapter 6  Configuring the WMS100 Subsystem

 WMS100 Subsystem General Configuration 

Activating Management Mode in Storage Navigator Modular will enable you to do a general 
configuration of the WMS100 subsystem. Before it is possible to configure the WMS100, 
Management Mode must be enabled in Storage Navigator Modular. Otherwise, it is only 
possible to monitor the status of the WMS100. 

To enable Management Mode: 

1.

 

From the Tools menu, click Operation Mode, and then click Set Password on the Main 
screen. 

2.

 

Enter Old Password, New Password and New Password (for confirmation) and click OK. 

Specify a password of up to 12 alphanumeric characters. 

3.

 

On the Tools menu, select Operation Mode, and then click Change. Alternatively, click 
Change Mode on the toolbar. 

4.

 

When the password-input screen displays, enter a password and click OK. Management 
Mode displays in Operation Mode in the upper part of the Main screen. The Storage 
Navigator Modular program operates in Management Mode.
