Every alarm sound can be tempo-
rarily deactivated by pressing the
test/stop button (Fig. 1, item d)

Indication sounds:
A single sound is emitted every
90 seconds (short beep).

Battery error message
If the smoke alarm emits one of the
two indication sounds described
above, the device will remain capa-
ble of providing its warning func-
tion for a maximum of 60 days and
must therefore be replaced before
this emaining 60-day period expires!
