8.5.2 Display settings (thermal channel)
Brightness
Setting for the picture brightness. Values between 0 and 100 can be set.
Contrast
Setting for the image contrast. Values between 0 and 100 can be set.
Manual correction (DPC)
One-time manual correction of the defective pixels
Thermal AGC mode
The adjustment of the AGC value for the thermal camera channel can be set as follows:
Self-adapting:
The camera finds the best setting on its own.
Histogram: Recommended for scenes with high temperature contrast
Linear: Recommended for scenes with low temperature contrast
Digital noise reduction
You have the option to activate (normal mode) or deactivate the noise reduction.
Pallets
This function can be used to adjust the colour distribution in the thermal channel. The selection can be made
as the viewer wishes. The selection of the colour palette has no effect on the detection via VCA or
temperature measurement. It is merely a selection of the representation of the detected temperatures.
Two of the colour palettes (White-Hot, Black-Hot) provide additional dynamic colouring for configurable
temperature ranges (Temp. Above, Temp. Between, Temp. Below). In practice, this can better alarm a
dynamic change in temperatures.
DDE (Digital Detail Enhancement)
The function provides a soft focus of the thermal image display.
Suppress sudden change in brightness
A sudden increase in temperature causes a sudden change in the colour representation. When this function is
activated, the representation of the colour change is reduced accordingly and.
Local image enhancement
Regionally, the encoding of the video stream can be improved in a limited way. Preset areas or a selection
frame (user-defined) are available for this purpose.
Mirror
Three different image mirroring options are possible (horionzal, vertical, hor. + vert.)
Digital zoom
By default, a digital zoom of 2x or 4x can be activated. Please note that this restricts the field of view of the
thermal image.
