Max. Bit rate
The bit rate of the video stream is fixed at a certain value, set the max. bit rate between 32 and 16384 Kbps.
A higher value corresponds to a higher video quality, but requires a larger bandwidth.
Video coding
Select a standard for video encoding, you have the choice between H.264, H.265 and MJPEG.
Profile
Select a profile here. You have the choice between "Basic profile", "Main profile" and "High profile".
I Frame interval
Set the I picture interval here, the value must be in the range 1 - 400.
Display of the VCA data via:
Player: VCA data (frames and lines) are also displayed in the recorded video file.
Video:
VCA data (frames and lines) are only displayed in the live image.
8.4.2 Audio
Audio coding
Select the audio code for the audio transmission here (G.722.1, G.711ulaw, G.711alaw, MP2L2, G.726).
Audio input
Activates the audio input (only for cameras with built-in microphone and microphone input).
Input volume
Adjustment of the input gain to the microphone.
Ambient noise filter
Activate the digital noise reduction function for audio transmission here.
8.4.3 ROI (Region of Interest)
The Region-of-Interest function can transmit certain areas in the video image with higher quality than the rest
of the video image. This can save transmission bandwidth accordingly. There are 4 regions available for each
video stream (1, 2).
Note: The video bit rate of the desired video stream must be set very low (see "Video Stream
Settings").
The marked area in the picture is automatically brought to a certain quality level, but the rest of the picture
remains in low quality/bit rate.
Fixed region:A rectangular frame can be drawn around an area of interest. There are 4 areas available for
each video stream (1, 2).
ROI level: 1: lower quality of the area, 6: highest quality of the area
Region name:
Assign a name for the region.
Accept the settings you have made by clicking on "Save".
