Dosing procedure
Under no circumstances must dosing take place when the Rotary dosing unit is at a
standstill.
Observe signal diagram!
The follow-up time must be selected so that the dosing head of the Rotary dosing
unit is free.
The time depends on the viscosity of the medium.
Guide values for the follow-up time are approx. 500 ms for oil and approx. 1 s for
grease.
Switching off the drive

Switch off actuator, 0 VDC signal at DIGITAL-IN7 (AKD X7/2)

Disable hardware enable if necessary. 0 VDC signal to ENABLE (AKD X8/4)

Possibly deactivate STO enable, 0 VDC signal to STO (X1/3)
Save Torque Off
After deactivation of STO (0VDC signal to STO) during operation, the servo controller
goes to fault:

0 VDC Signal at output FAULT (X8/2)

ERROR


After the renewed release of the STO (24 VDC signal to STO (X1/3)), the error can
be reset by reactivating the hardware release ENABLE (X8/4). If the error is reset, a
24 VDC signal is output at output FAULT (X8/2). The servo controller is ready for
operation and the drive can be started.
Commissioning and initial operation

Flush (clean) the lubricant supply hose and then fill it with the lubricant before
connecting a metering valve (flushing and bleeding process).

Connect the supply hose to the medium input (Figure A & C/no. 3).
CAUTION
The Vario metering valves may not be operated with no medium!
Packaging, transportation and storage
ABNOX prepares the product for transportation to the respective initial destination.
The packing unit must not be subjected to excessive strain. Protect the packaging
and contents against exposure to moisture. Keep the temperature between
–20 °C
and +40 °C during transportation.
