AUT-/ROBO-cutting torch
With these versions, the cutter torch nozzles are arranged in a straight line to
the axis of the body of the torch.
The wearing parts plasma nozzle, protective cap, electrode and insulator can
simply be replaced by insertion or screwing.
Accessories
• Torch roller guide for straight cuts or fitted additionally with the circular
guide for cutting circular components in the diameter range of approx.
100 to 1000 mm.
– The torch roller guide is clamped onto the protective cap.
• Bracket for machine cutter torch.
Fitting the torch body
1. Screw in the electrode and tighten using the multiple wrench.
2. Screw in the plasma nozzle chosen and tighten using the multiple wrench.
The choice of plasma nozzle depends mainly on the material to be cut and
the current intensity.
Standard values are:
Nozzle bore
Ø 1,0 mm
40 A
Ø 1,3 mm
60 A
Ø 1,5 mm
80 A
Ø 1,8 mm
100 A
Depending on the torch version, further wearing parts can be used. In this
case, make sure of the correct mounting sequence according to the following
illustrations and the current order documents.
3. Screw the protective cap on and tighten by hand.
4. Put the fuse terminal in place.
All plasma manual cutting torches are fitted with a torch-specific fuse
terminal to protect the user.
This has to be removed to loosen the wearing parts, thus automatically
interrupting the switch-on circuit. When replacing wearing parts the current
source for the plasma must always be switched off as well, regardless of this
safety cut-out!
Soiled nozzle bores reduce the air throughput and cooling effect.
This increases the wear of all parts and can even lead to the destruc-
tion of the torch body.
Always make sure the parts are tightened up and that the protective cap and
all wearing parts are clean!
