Manual and machine cutting torches from the PSB series are intended exclusi-
vely for plasma cutting and joint preparation with compressed air as the plas-
ma and cooling gas. PSB torches are intended for industrial and commercial
use by trained employees only.
Dry, purified compressed air is required for operation of all plasma cutting torches.
The operating unit in the handle, by manual cutting torches, is suitable for
max. 42 V and 0.1 Amps up to 1.0 Amps
The plasma-cutting torch should only be operated using original ABICOR
BINZEL
®
spare parts.
The operator is responsible for ensuring that the plasma cutting torch
and the plasma cutting power supply comply with EC Guideline EMC
(89/336/EEC), Guidelines for Electromagnetic Compatibility.
The plasma-cutting torches of the PSB are exclusively intended for the applica-
tion described above. Any use beyond that is prohibited.
Proper use also requires adherence to the operation, servicing and maintenance
conditions as set by the manufacturer.
The warranty does not cover consumables or damage due to overloading or
improper handling.
Unauthorized conversions and modifications are prohibited for reasons of
safety and liability.
The tasks described in these operating instructions are explained in a way,
which can only be understood and performed by qualified personnel.
According to the definitions found in EN-60 204-1:
Qualified personnel are persons who, based on their special training, know-
ledge, experience and due to their knowledge of the relevant standards, are
able to assess the tasks assigned to them and identify possible dangers.
