Plasma-cutting torch with central adapter
The plasma cutting torch with central adapter must only be connected
to power sources with central adaptor block which comply to the
safety requirements according to EN 60 974-1 and EN 60974-7.
The association of the cutting torch and power source is clearly defined by
the coding on the plug and socket and must be observed under all circum-
stances
Cutting process
Before starting the cutting process, check your protective equipment and
the surrounding area for possible dangers as outlined in chapter 6!
Ensure that all parameters required for plasma cutting such as the cutting
current, soft start, compressed air, etc. are set on the power source in
accordance with the cutting operation. Information and tips on the direct
cutting process (technique, procedure, materials, plasma...) are given in the
applicable literature and not in these operating instructions.
9.5 Removing from service
When you have finished cutting:
1. Switch off the cutting power source.
2. Close the shut-off valve for the compressed air supply.
Before switching on
• Ensure that all threaded fittings are tight.
• Replace defective, deformed or worn parts.
• Ensure that equipment part are seated correctly.
