7.7 Carrying out the welding process
7.7.1 Starting the welding process
1
Check the set welding parameters to ensure they are correct.
2
Activate the “Welding start” signal.
During welding, the welding current is displayed on the left digital display and the welding voltage is
displayed on the right digital display in real time. This display shows the average value of the last second.
At the end of the welding process, the average value of the welding current and welding voltage in the last
second of the main welding parameter is displayed on each digital display in a blinking mode.
► Press any button when the value blinks on the control panel to change the display to the set value.
► If necessary, change the duration of the blinking display using the internal function (F8).
If the welding time is short, an accurate value may not be displayed. The displayed value is calculated by
the machine’s software and cannot be used as a control value for the measuring instrument.
5
Select the memory location number (job no.) to be deleted
using the <Parameter setting> knob.
6
To delete all stored data simultaneously, turn the
<Parameter setting> knob counterclockwise until <ALL> is
displayed in the right digital display.
When <ALL> is selected, the data currently set on the control
panel is also deleted and the internal function settings are
reset to the factory defaults.
7
Press <Enter>.
<dEL> blinks in the left digital display.
8
Press the <Parameter selection> button. The parameters
saved to the job no. to be deleted can be checked again.
The saved parameters are shown blinking in the left
digital display.
9
If another job no. should be deleted, press the <Save> or
<Load> button.
10
Press <Enter>.
11
When <End> is displayed in both digital displays, set the
main switch to <0>.
