Troubleshooting

This section lists problems or observations that you may have, the possible

cause(s) and recommended actions . If the Reader experiences an error,

a message will appear on the screen with directions to resolve the error .

Reader Does Not Power On

Problem

What it May Mean

What to Do

Reader does not

power on after

you press the

Home Button or

insert a test strip .

Reader battery is

too low .

Charge the Reader .

Reader is outside

its operating

temperature range .

Move the Reader to a

temperature between

10°C and 45°C and then

try to power it on .

If the Reader still does not power on after trying these steps, contact

Customer Service .
