Suitable Switchsync™ Controllers
Circuit breakers for shunt reactors are normally single-pole operated due to the high rated
voltages. In cases with three-pole mechanically operated circuit breakers, controlled opening
operations may be arranged by use of mechanically staggered circuit breaker poles. However,
it is normally not possible to control both opening and closing operations with mechanically
staggered circuit breakers.
