Touch to change the amount of data displayed on the screen. A longer
screen interval displays more data, a shorter screen interval displays data
over a shorter time period, but in more detail. In both cases, the full trace is
preserved by plotting the maximum and minimum samples for each display
point.
The screen intervals available in the menu are determined by the faster of
the primary and secondary sample rates set for the process group during
configuration – see Section 7.8.1, page 80.
Table 4.1 shows the relationship between sample rate and screen interval
for the vertical and horizontal chart views.
Note.
A 'Please Wait' message appears in the status bar while the recorder
retrieves data from storage.
Selecting a different screen interval does not affect the rate at which
data is sampled.
When in historical review mode, changing the screen interval causes
the time at the cursor position to change.
