9.1. Safety

9.2. Overview

The chapter outlines the local operation of the drive.
Control of the drive via a PLC or higher-level control systems is not described in
this chapter. If the drive is controlled from remote, see the appropriate manuals
for information.
The panel messages and parameter settings used in this chapter are typical
examples to illustrate the related instructions and display functions and can
therefore differ from the actual messages and parameter settings in the drive.

9.3. Operating conditions

The operating conditions for the drive are according to IEC 60721
