9. Maintenance and troubleshooting
In this section the user will be istructed on maintenance and cleaning procedures.
Preliminary requirements

Do a check for damage:
- EV charge cables
- Connectors
Check for:
• Cracks or ruptures
• Visible internal wires of the cable
4 months
Clean the EVSE
Cleaning agent with pH value between 6 and 8
Do not use abrasive tools.
Do not apply high-pressure water jets.
6 months
Do a check for damage:
- EVSE
Check for:
• Touchscreen cracks
• Touchscreen doesn’t work
• Cracks or ruptures on the external parts
• Signs of rust that cause ingress of water
NOTE
When the EVSE is put in a corrosion sensitive
environment, superficial rust is possible on
welding points. This rust is only visual. There is
no risk for the integrity of the EVSE.
1 year
Make sure that the manufacturer
does maintenance on the EVSE
Ask the manufacturer to do the task.
1 year
Replace the air inlet filters
Ask the manufacturer to do the task.
After the
first year,
then 2 years
Replace the air outlet filters
Ask the manufacturer to do the task.
5 years
Replace the heater (this is
required only in countries where
the heater is actually used: the
heater is active only in cold and/or
in high humidity countries )
