3.14 Options
3.14.1 Fiscal metering system
The EVSE can optionally be equipped with a DC energy meter (this option can be installed in the factory or in
the field)

NOTE
The presence of the DC meter is mandatory in some countries. Do a check of the regulations
that are applicable in the country of installation.
NOTE
For the German market the EVSE is equipped with energy metering to comply with the
“Eichrecht” directive. The energy meter is a field installable device.
3.14.2 Tilt sensors
The tilt sensor system disables the power from the incoming AC source when a tilt sensor detects a tilt of a
cabinet of the EVSE in any direction. The tilt sensor is generally closed and opens when the tilt exceeds 10° in
any direction, for example if a vehicle impacts against the EVSE. In these situations, the undervoltage release
in the branch circuit breaker that supplies power to the EVSE is de-energized and the branch circuit breaker
opens.
