: these switches are used to adapt lines (factory setting, leave set to ON).
CA2
(located on the copper side): configure according to the card's location and mode (master/
slave).

Note:
The power supply units of the NeXspan range do not supply ISDN 40 V. To supply 40 V
to sets and/or base stations, connect an external power supply unit to the J2 connector
on the LD4
ST card.
CA2.1
(VALH)
Function
ON Leave set to ON position. If the LD4 ST card is fitted in a synchronising slot, the ON
position allows the PBX to take the ISDN network clock as reference clock. In a non-
synchronising slot, CA2.1 has no effect. The synchronising positions in an XL cabinet
are the locations 1-00 to 1-05. For an XS cabinet, all positions are synchronising.
OFF Do not set it to OFF position (in OFF position, the ISDN clock is not taken as reference,
whatever the slots).
