Auto key unlock: the keypad is automatically unlocked when a call or message is received.
When the user has serviced the call or message, the key lock is reapplied after the specified
automatic lock time expires.
Activate the Automatic Key Lock
The user activates the automatic key lock and sets the Auto lock time from the handset
"Settings" menu in the following way:

Select “Locks”. The "Locks" menu is displayed.

Select "Automatic key lock" menu item and select "On" or "On except calls".
NOTE: The current key lock setting is displayed under the "Automatic key lock" menu
item.

Press the "Back" soft key to redisplay the "Locks" menu.

Select "Auto lock time" and press the "Select" soft key.

Select the required lock time and press the "Select" soft key.
Deactivate the Automatic Key lock

Select “Locks”.

Select "Automatic key lock".

Select "Off" for deactivation of automatic key lock.
Automatic Key Unlock
The user can configure a locked keypad to unlock automatically when a call or message is
received. After the user has serviced the call or message, the keypad is locked again after
the specified Auto lock time expires.
Activate the Automatic Key lock

Select “Locks”.

Select "Automatic key lock".

Select "On" for activation of automatic key lock.

Setting the Phone Lock
Activate the Phone Lock
The handset can be protected for unauthorized use. If this function is activated, a PIN code
has to be entered for example to switch on the handset, to answer an incoming call etc. The
default phone lock code (0000) can be changed to any 4 - 8 digit personalized code.
NOTE: If configured in the PDM/Device Manager, any one of up to five emergency numbers
can be called while the phone is locked. See

. If the DT692 is used, it is also possible to use
the Alarm button while the handset is locked.

Select “Locks”.

Select “On”,"On in charger", or "Off".

Enter PIN code.
