Inspecting Windows Services

The Windows services configuration is adapted accordingly to match the require-
ments of the Aastra 800 communications system. Under normal conditions, there
is no need to change this configuration.

However, for maintenance or troubleshooting purposes it may be reasonable to
check the Windows services configuration:

Open the Windows control panel. Navigate to the

Performance and Mainte-

nance

category. Open the

Administrative Tools

folder. Start the

Services

applet.

From the

Services

list, select the “Aastra 800 Supervisor Service” entry.

Verify that the service was started. You may also check if the properties page of
the service shows the

Automatic

setting for

Startup type
