Selecting a comparator mode
1 Press and hold the MODE key until

of the function table is displayed.
2 Press the MODE key several times to display

3 Press the PRINT key.
4 Press the START key to display

5 Press the PRINT key to store the selected mode.
Entering the upper limit value

displayed, press the PRINT key. The current setting of the upper limit value is
displayed.
When the current setting is not to be changed, press the PRINT key to proceed to step 7.
When the current setting is to be changed, change the setting using the following keys.
MODE key
To select the digit blinking.
START key
To change the value of the digit blinking.
STOP key
To select the position of the decimal point.
PRINT key
To store the new setting and go to step 7.
Entering the lower limit value

displayed, press the PRINT key. The current setting of the lower limit value is
displayed.
When the current setting is not to be changed, press the PRINT key to proceed to step 8.
When the current setting is to be changed, change the setting using the following keys.

To select the digit blinking.

STOP key
To select the position of the decimal point.
PRINT key
To store the new setting and go to step 8.
8 Press the HOLD key to exit the comparator function and return to the standby mode.
Device ID Number (

The ID number is used to identify the viscometer.
Whether or not to add the ID number to the measurement data can be selected by "
5-ed
" of
the function setting.
The ID number is six characters long. The following characters are available for the ID number.
