The filling

method is recommended because it tends to be more accurate

In case of the draining method you can never be 100% sure of what is the current

volume of the fuel inside the tank  (

) and if the tank is 100% full.

Next, give the table’s file a name (

) and set the portion volume (

ATTENTION! Portion volume is not the number of portions! It is the number of
liters/gallons each portion will be equal to!

In the example below the tank

supposedly contains 100 liters and that volume can be divided into 10 portions of 10
liters. If the tank had a total capacity of 300 liters and the idea was to calibrate it in 10

portions, the Portion volume would have been set as 30 liters.
