Replace base cover and fill excavation with pea gravel level to ground surface.

Add additional pea gravel inside the cabinet up to the height of the base cover.

When the cabinet is in place, remove the lifting straps bolted to the sides of the cabinet. Replace the bolts with
the carriage-bolt heads to the outside of the cabinet.
5.12
Identify the cabinet (street address) on the street-side door according to your company procedure.
6.0 Cabinet Mounting with Pour-in-Place Pad
6.1
Prepare desired cabinet location ground surface and build pad form to the dimensions below.
6.2
Block off cable entry area to keep clear of concrete.
6.3
Pour concrete, making sure surface is level.
6.4
Place anchor inserts at specified locations.
Note: If a lift boom truck is used, reposition the two side lifting straps for attachment of a sling. Attach lift device
(sling) to cabinet lift straps.
6.5
Position cabinet onto slab and secure with 1/2" bolts and the attachment clips removed from the shipping
pallet.

Install base cover and fill cabinet with pea gravel up to the top of the base cover. 3M

may also be used as an alternative moisture barrier in the bottom of the cabinet.
6.7
When the cabinet is in place, remove the lifting straps bolted to the sides of the cabinet. Replace the bolts with
the carriage-bolt heads to the outside of the cabinet.
