The 3M

™

4300 Stake-Mount Cabinet Series consists of three sizes of cabinets which can accommodate cross-

connect termination frames or simple splice storage. These cabinets are designed for stake-mounting
applications, however, they will also mount to a concrete pad using the attachment clips provided.

1.2

The following tools are needed for cabinet installation:

• 3/8" and 1/2" socket wrench sets
• Long handle shovel
• Sledgehammer
• Level
• Module/connector splicing tools
• Standard hand tools

1.3

Cabinet mounting methods and materials:

• Stake-mount directly into the ground
• Mount on a Pour-in-Place concrete pad using 1/2-13 UNC anchor inserts (4)
• Pea gravel for cabinet support and base sealing
• 3M

4411 Expandable Foam is an alternative for base sealing.
