Cable Specifications
To comply with the limits of a Class B digital device,
3Com requires that you use quality interface cables when
connecting to this device. Changes or modifications not
expressly approved by 3Com could void the user’s authority
to operate this equipment. Examples of supported cable
types are shown in
Table 12
.
The 10BASE-T cable you use for establishing a connection
to the network should not be used for any other purpose.
It must be dedicated to the link between the NIC and
the network.
