Removing the Cable
Modem

1

Shut down and unplug your computer.

2

Disconnect your cable line from the modem's CABLE jack.

3

Remove the computer's cover.

4

Remove the screw that holds the cable modem in its slot.

5

Pull the cable modem out of the slot.

6

Cover the slot with the bracket you removed during installation and
screw it into place.

7

Replace the computer's cover, plug it back into the electrical outlet, and
turn the computer back on.
