UMMARY
Table 5 outlines all of the Administration Console commands for
Switch 4007 switching modules and indicates the module type to which
they apply. Each command is described in chapters that follow.
This table classifies all non-management modules as belonging to either
of two broad groups — Layer 2 Switching Modules (which includes
switch fabric modules and LAN switching modules) or Multilayer
Switching Modules (LAN switching modules that also have routing and
other higher layer capabilities). Considering that there are many individual
modules within each broad category, there may be a few exceptions as to
whether a certain command is supported on all modules within a
particular group. Any exceptions are noted in command descriptions in
the subsequent chapters of this guide.
