Accessing the 3Com Web Interface
The Multi-Session web connections feature enables 10 users to be
created and access the switch concurrently. Access levels provide read
or read/write permissions to users for configuring the switch. Users and
access levels are described in Configuring System Access Section. Login
information is always handled in the local database. A unique password
is required from each user. Two access levels exist on the 3Com Web
Interface:
■
Management access level
— Provides the user with read/write
access. There is always one management level user configured for
the switch. The factory default is be username: admin with no
Password.
Monitor access level
— Provides the user with read-only access.
