Select the Reconnect at sign-in box to keep this mapping over a reboot of 
the PC and then click Finish.  The drive letter selected should be available 

as the file share in the File Explorer.   The system will prompt for the 
username and password during the process.

 

 

CHAPTER 10 

– SYSTEM UPDATE 

Updating the System Application 

From time to time, 360 Systems revises the application software on its products to 
enhance and/or improve performance.  System updates must be obtained by 

contacting 360 Systems’ support to insure that the proper update is provided.   
 

WARNING

: Using the incorrect update may render the system inoperable. 

 

WARNING

: Please make sure to backup all content on the system prior to 

conducting any system update.  Although most updates will not affect the system 
content or databases, the possibly of loss of content or settings does exist. 

 
To update the system 
- Copy the provided file (for example, the IR3_DR1000-A.enc) to the root directory 

on a USB key.  
- Insert the USB key with the update file into one of the USB ports on the system. 
- From the Home screen, select MENU and then in the Main Menu screen, select 

UTILITY MENU. 
- Select FW UPDATE and follow the prompts.
