Instant Replay 3 Operations Manual

File Manager Functions

The built-in file manager provides methods to organize the content on the system.

Copy / Move

: To copy or move a file, files or playlists or entire folders, make a

selection in the file manager using the checkboxes and select the COPY/MOVE
button. The COPY/MOVE button will turn

green

and all selected checkboxes will be

cleared.

Navigate to the folder where you wish the files to be copied or moved and press

the COPY/MOVE button again. A dialog will appear and either COPY or PASTE can
be selected.

The selected function will be carried out and the user will be returned to the file
manager when the process is complete.

Note

: During the COPY/MOVE process, if a large amount of files are to be

processed, the unit may appear frozen during this process. This is normal as the
operation must be complete prior to the unit returning to normal operation.

Rename

: To rename a file, select a file by highlight (tap the screen or use the

arrow keys) and then select the RENAME button which will provide a popup dialog
to rename the file.

Note

: Only the name portion of the file is changed. The file extension is

automatically added upon completion of the operation.

Create Folder

: To create a new folder, navigate to the location you wish to create

the folder and select the CREATE FOLDER button. A dialog will prompt for the
folder name.
