Instant Replay 3 Operations Manual 

CHAPTER 3 

–SETUP & CONNECTIONS 

Instant Replay is an extensively featured, high quality professional audio workstation. 
However, it is also very simple and intuitive to use. In most cases, following the 

description for each button function mentioned in the previous chapters provides a 
good understanding of the system operation.  The following sections cover the Instant 
Replay’s basic operation.  

 

POWERING ON INSTANT REPLAY 

CAUTION! 

ONLY A 360 SYSTEMS APPROVED POWER SUPPLY SHOULD BE USED WITH THIS 
SYSTEM.  FAILURE TO USE A PROPERLY RATED POWER SUPPLY MAY CAUSE DAMAGE 

TO THE SYSTEM. CONNECT THIS PRODUCT ONLY TO AN AC POWER SOURCE WITHIN 
THE VOLTAGE AND FREQUENCY RANGE INDICATED ON THE POWER SUPPLY.  THE 
PRODUCT IS SUPPLIED WITH A DETACHABLE IEC TYPE AC LINE CORD APPROPRIATE 
TO THE COUNTRY TO WHICH THE UNIT WAS ORIGINALLY DELIVERED. CHECK TO SEE 

THAT IT MATCHES THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET YOU WILL BE USING.   

 

 

Connect the supplied power supply to the rear panel and plug it into an AC 

power outlet.  

WARNING: 

REPLACE POWER CORD ONLY WITH UNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES (UL) LISTED 

CORD OF EQUIVALENT TYPE AND RATING! 

Power Button  

The power button is located on the front panel.   

 

A short press of the power button (one to four seconds) initiates a normal power 
shutdown.  

 

Continuing to hold the power button down will force the immediate power off of 

the system. 

 

When the system is off, a short press of the power button will turn on the 

system power. 

 

Instant Replay will run through a power up sequence that includes lighting each 

front panel indicator in sequence. 

 

The display will show the Home screen and display Initializing. 

 

Once the initialization is complete, the clip that was last loaded will display and 

the system is ready to use. 

Connecting Instant Replay to External Audio Equipment 

The rear panel of the Instant Replay is shown below.
