2.4 Connection

2N ® LiftIP Connection

2N  LiftIP

®

 is connected to the LAN via a Cat 5e or higher UTP/STP cable terminated 

with an RJ-45 LAN connector. 

 can be fed via PoE or an external DC 10–30 

2N  LiftIP

®

V 0.5 A power supply. Once connected, 

gets the IP address from the DHCP 

2N  LiftIP 

®

server. To know the IP address, enter the system voice menu and press and hold the 

upper MENU button for a long time (see the cover print).

Or, use the 

 application including the network scanner. Refer to 

2N  LiftIP Service Tool

5.3 Service Tool

Having set the VoIP parameters (SIP server, username, password, etc.) via the Service 

Tool,  you  can  call 

and  set  additional  parameters  remotely.

2N   LiftIP

receives  DTMF  via  RFC-2833  by  default,  or  you  can  set  the  detector  to  in-band 

(parameter 1108, via the Service Tool only).

Caution

Fit the Ethernet cable to the motherboard using a cable tie to prevent 
mechanical stress of the connector.

ALARM Connection – Contact Control

Accident Risk

The button must be safe: make sure that the isolation distance is 1.5 mm 
at least and the breakdown voltage is 1500 V at least. Also, make sure 
that the button contacts are not connected to any other circuits. If these 
conditions cannot be met, use voltage control.
