Hardware Installation & Initial Setup
Table 2-5 describes how to configure the internal modem.

WAN Port Setup Menu Fields
Field
Description
Modem Name
Enter a descriptive name for the internal modem.
Active
Set to [Yes] to ac tivate the internal modem.
Call Direction
Set the call direction for the modem.
Phone Number
Enter the telephone number assigned to your line by your telephone
company. Note that your
Prestige
only accepts digits; do not include
dashes and spaces in this field.
Advanced Setup
To edit the Advanced Setup for this internal modem, move the cursor to
this field, use the space bar to select [Yes] and press [Enter]. This will bring
you to Menu 2.1.1 - Advanced Setup.
