DSL connection
Your VMG8825 is intended for IP-based connections (Voice over IP) without the use
of a splitter (telephony over the Internet).
Here you see a possible connection scenario for your home network.
Alternative Connection via an external Model
The internal DSL-Modem does not support access via feber or cabel. In such
cases use the LAN 4 Port for connecting your VMG8825 via an Ethernetcable
with a Fibre or Cable modem, and activate the appropriate option on the GUI. For
